Fear

I have had this talk many times,

Why do Irish people not collectively mobilize ? this is the real question to why we lack any real change in our society.

I believe it has something to do with the fear or the unknown. If we guaranteed the safety of people’s future I believe people would participate in more protests and if it did not work or it was not the change they sought their present situation would be preserved allowing them to carry on with their day-to-day life.

If that idea was around I do think people would participate in bringing about the change they want. The fear of any unstable or unknown future would be gone thus allowing for people to take risks no matter how big of a risk it may be.

Saying that I also believe people shouldn’t allow this to get in their way when it comes to fighting for change. Change doesn’t come in a perfectly packaged box but rather in a very unstable box.

Uncertainty exists as I write this, it exists in everyone’s life as their future is not written in stone. We allow for uncertainty because sometimes it’s uncertainty that we need.

Act with your heart and Let passion lead you into the future.
